DALK Air Injection Cannula
for the "Big Bubble" technique

This cannula was specially designed to be used during the "Big Bubble" technique for Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (DALK). Once a channel has been dissected in the interface with the DALK Corneal Dissector, the tip of this cannula is introduced. After the tip is advanced to the center of the eye, the surgeon introduces air into the cannula which is released through the 0.2mm posterior port and thereby creating a "Big Bubble" which completes the dissection out to the periphery. The flattened 27 gauge cannula is slightly vaulted and inserts easily into the channel created by the dissector.
