Vision correction for patients that suffer from moderate to high levels can now be helped with an Implantable Collamer® Lens (ICL) from Staar Surgical. This new forceps is designed to assist in the positioning of the ICL in the cartridge without damaging the optic. The 20 gauge retinal-style instrument features jaws that are 3.5mm long, 0.9mm high and 1.5mm wide. The inner surfaces of the jaws have a series of convex and concave surfaces which provide traction to grasp the ICL without damaging the lens optic.
