DALK Corneal Dissector
for the "Big Bubble" Technique
Following partial depth trephination with the Barron Vacuum Trephine, this instrument is used to dissect a channel in the interface between the corneal stroma and Descemet's membrane in preparation for the DALK Cannula. It features a 12mm long flattened, vaulted spatula with a blunt beveled tip. The blunted beveled tip helps the surgeon to find and maintain the interface plane during dissection. |
