Featuring a beveled face displaying identification markings in 5° increments, this new degree gauge offers the surgeon greater precision when creating landmarks for limbal relaxing incisions or Toric IOL alignment. For correct orientation of the degree gauge, the surgeon simply aligns the four notches on the internal edge with markings made at the cardinal positions pre-operatively. Once the degree gauge is correctly positioned, the surgeon can easily make precise markings on the cornea for either the proper alignment of a Toric IOL or for creating a limbal relaxing incision using one of Dr. Henderson's markers. |
