Masket Capsulorrhexis Forceps
with landmarks for sizing the CCC

These forceps have the same delicate triangular-shaped grasping tips as the popular Masket forceps (K5-5084), however it utilizes a shorter handle which some surgeons prefer. In addition, these forceps feature two lines on the surface of the vaulted shanks which can be used as landmarks for sizing a 5.0mm capsulorrhexis. The first line is at 2.5mm from the tip and can be used to gauge the radius (figure 1) while the second mark at 5.0mm from the tip (figure 2) can be used to gauge the overall diameter of the capsulotomy.
