Peters Cannula
for hydrodissection and lenticular rotation
Daniel Peters, MD of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania designed this cannula for hydrodissection. It is similar to the K7-5054, however, the flattened portion of the tip is 4mm long and oriented 90° from the angle. The offset orientation of the tip gives the surgeon better hand position during hydrodissection while the shorter tip length helps to facilitate lenticular rotation. Dr. Peters also uses the cannula to hydrate the clear corneal incision at the end of the procedure. |
